How do I get my Help Module to work?

To access the Help Module in VirtualBoss, go to the Help menu and click on Help

If the Help Module is not working correctly then you may not be connected to the internet.  If connecting to the internet still does not fix the problem, call our office at 1-888-827-5397.  We can answer your question over the phone, and we can help you get the Help Module back up and running.  You may also want to check the rest of the VirtualBoss Knowledge Base for answers to your questions.

The following may also assist you in accessing the Help Module properly:

1/25/2001 - Many users have reported that they are unable to access the VirtualBoss Help file. The Help file is in your VirtualBoss directory, but you will have to manually double-click on the actual file itself. It can be found in your c:\Program Files\virtualboss folder (the Help file itself is called VirtualBossHelp.chm)

- If you are prompted by a pop-up window asking you to locate the hh.exe file when you double-click on the Help file, be sure to direct the path to this file by pointing it to your c:\windows\system folder if you are running Windows95, Windows98, or Windows ME.

- For users running Windows NT or Windows2000, direct it to c:\winnt\system32 folder.

- You will only need to do this once. Again, this is only if you are prompted by a pop-up window asking you to locate the hh.exe file on your hard drive when you try to open the Help file.
