When teachers try to respond to a parent email through HomeworkNow, they don't go through.
The emails sent to teachers contain whatever email address the parent fills out on the Contact Teacher form. If they fill out their email address wrong, then when the teacher replies, it will bounce back. Also, HomeworkNOW does not do any processing of the replies - since all we do is generate the email to teachers, all reply processing is done locally on the teachers system or webmail - as is the case when they receive any other mail.

What forms of payment do you accept?
HomeworkNOW accepts various forms of payment, including all
major Credit Cards, On-Line Checks, Mailed Checks, Money Orders, and Official
School Purchase Orders (Purchase orders only accepted for school wide accounts
only.)

I Received an Innapropriate Message From A Student or Parent, How can I find out who sent it?
Yes, you may track the email via the IP address located at the bottom
of the message sent to you. HomeworkNOW puts the originating IP address
on all messages sent to teachers. You may then take that address and
search for its origin at http://www.arin.net. In the Arin.net search
results, you will see the owner of the IP address (usually an Internet
Service Provider) and a abuse number that you may call and open a case
with. Please note: HomeworkNOW can not investigate any issues independently unless
we are contacted by a law enforcement agency with a valid case number.

How do I change the order of my classes/pages?
Classes/subjects show up in alphabetical order. To sort by school period/block, put the period/block before the class name. For example, 'Period 1: Math.' shows up before 'Period 2: Algebra' etc.

Lost My Password
If you lost your password try the following....... if you are a teacher:Go to: http://www.homeworknow.com/hwnow/forgotpassword.php?for=teacherEnter your username. Your password will be sent to the email address we have on file for you.... if you are a SchoolWide Admin:

Enter your school's HWNOW ID. Your password will be sent to the email address we have on file for you.... if you are a parent/student:
Go to: http://my.homeworknow.com/my.php?option=forgot
Enter your email. Your password will be sent to the email address we have on file for you.

Why can't I find my name in the assignment directory under my school name?
If you have a trial account or if your school's prepaid
account has expired, your name will not be visible from the public HomeworkNOW
teacher directory. We do this in trial accounts for security reasons. (We
don't want someone creating a free trial account, and posting inappropriate
content under a school name.) Your name will be visible when your account is registered individually or though a schoolwide account.Although your name is not visible, you can still
give students your direct, personal URL to your assignment page, which can be
visible. Remember that your personal address to your assignment page is http://www.homeworknow.com/fetch?teacher=younamehere. With yournamehere
being your HWNOW username.
